Reinvigorating UK Equity Markets
Reinvigorating UK Equity Markets
Call for urgent action
The UK equity market is facing a problem of declining listings, market capitalisation, valuations and liquidity, which has led to persistent outflows from UK funds. Regulatory reform is needed to make listing more attractive and less costly, but also demand-side measures such as pension reform and tax incentives to boost investment.
"Reinvigoration of UK plc is vital, and we are actively supporting the UK government and regulators to promote positive change."
