LondonMetric Property Plc is a FTSE250, UK-based real estate investment trust (REIT) – and one of our longstanding clients.
We’ve supported the company as broker and advisor throughout its evolution as a publicly-listed company over the past 15 years. From London & Stamford, a c London focused property company floating on AIM in 2007, through several equity raisings, mergers and acquisitions, to currently having a property portfolio worth over £3bn focussed on distribution and long income.
Following the move to the Main Market in 2010 and conversion to a REIT, we acted on behalf of London & Stamford in its merger with Metric Properties in 2013, and continued to act for the renamed LondonMetric Property PLC. Since then, LondonMetric has refocused its property portfolio to become a leading long income and logistics-focused REIT. In 2019, we were instrumental in LondonMetric’s £415m acquisition of A&J Mucklow plc, further increasing its urban logistics exposure. Since IPO we have helped the Company raise over £890m of fresh equity.
LondonMetric’s growth has proved our confidence in the excellent management team, their insight into the wider real estate market, and proven track record in realigning the property portfolio with macro-economic trends. Since the merger to create LondonMetric Property in 2013, it has delivered a total shareholder return of 15%.
