12 May 2026, London: UK investment bank Peel Hunt has expanded its London Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team with three new hires.
The bank has welcomed Rae Maile and Ross Luckman as Research Analysts, and Sefa Yakpo as an Associate in the Investment Banking department.
In his role as Financials Research Analyst, Rae will lead Peel Hunt’s coverage of financial services companies, supported bv Ross. Their coverage will include asset managers, wealth managers, and specialist lenders.
Rae and Ross both join from Panmure Liberum, where they focused on Equity Research. Rae brings a wealth of expertise across equity research, fund management and institutional broking, with a career spanning senior roles at leading investment banks, brokers and asset managers. Ross also brings extensive experience covering UK financial services companies across the market cap spectrum.
As an Investment Banking Associate, FIG, Sefa will play a key role in supporting Peel Hunt’s clients in the sector, across day-to-day workstreams and deal execution. Sefa joins from Fenchurch Advisory Partners, where she worked as an M&A Analyst across financial services deals.
The expansion of the FIG team complements Peel Hunt’s desire to deepen sector expertise, expand client coverage and support existing and potential clients across the sector. These hires will enhance Peel Hunt’s ability to originate and execute transactions, provide differentiated research and insight, and strengthen relationships.
