Sector specialists focused on long–term franchise development. Our sector teams provide integrated financial advisory and capital markets services as well as sector coverage. Each team is exclusively focused on their chosen area.
It means they are better informed and able to give the best strategic advice. We do not set revenue targets for individuals or teams. It eliminates any need to focus on short-term revenue opportunities and encourages long-term franchise development built around the concept of relevant corporate clients.
Product teams
Our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team is devoted to ensuring the success of our equity capital-raising mandates, across all sectors. ECM is a key part of any Corporate client relationship.
Our highly experienced team advises on potential equity transactions, assessing their relevance, structuring, timing and likely pricing. We provide invaluable aid to the presentation of the equity story, identify key target investors and then manage all interactions with those investors once the fundraise is underway. The strength of our institutional investor relationships provides us with significant placing power for our issuer clients.
On execution, our ECM team leads on pricing and allocations – ensuring stock is placed in the right hands at the right price.

Our Private Equity coverage team is pro-actively engaged in the coverage of financial sponsors and private equity firms across a broad range of sectors, products and services.
Our services include exit advice via IPO or sale and new portfolio acquisitions via public-to-privates or buy-side advice.

Our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team specialises in providing financial advice on change-of-control transactions in and around the listed company arena.
Our roles include (i) advising UK-listed clients on a retained basis to support their strategic growth ambitions and in takeover situations (hostile or recommended), (ii) advising overseas corporates on investment opportunities in the UK, and (iii) advising private equity firms on carve-out or take-private transactions.

The Private Capital Markets (PCM) team at Peel Hunt focuses on advising unquoted issuers seeking capital from investors.
The team leverages an expansive network of relationships and a global distribution network to provide efficient capital to our corporate clients across all investor groups, including private equity, venture capital, family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, sovereign wealth funds, institutions, foundations, strategic/corporates, cross-over investors and hedge funds.
Peel Hunt’s market knowledge and extensive private financing experience ensures the most favourable terms for our corporate clients and the most appropriate investor base to fit their needs.
The PCM team is not only sector agnostic but also operates across the capital structure, working in close coordination with the other product and sector teams across the Investment Banking division. For PCM opportunities, Peel Hunt does not operate on a minimum capital raise model and instead seeks to assess our client’s needs on a case-by-case basis.
