Of Extel & II’s 10 top-ranked analysts for UK mid & small-cap companies, five came from Peel Hunt, with Charles Hall, Head of Research and a Consumer Goods analyst, named the year’s number one analyst for the third year in a row, followed by Harry Philips, a Capital Goods analyst, ranking second and Henry Carver, also a Capital Goods analyst, ranking in fifth place.
Across each of the 16 sector categories surveyed by Extel and II, Peel Hunt’s sector research teams consistently ranked in the top three, achieving number one rankings in six sectors (Consumer Goods, Leisure & Gaming, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Strategy) and ranking second in a further five (Capital Goods, Construction, Financials, Media and Support Services).
