Peel Hunt are pleased to announce several senior appointments to its Debt Capital Markets (“DCM”) and equity linked product team; Scott Beattie as a Director and Head of DCM who joins from Oppenheimer Europe; David Kent as a Director who also joins from Oppenheimer Europe; and Stuart Galvin as a Director who joins from Cenkos Securities.
The Peel Hunt DCM team provide UK corporate clients with a wide range of financing alternatives beyond equity, delivered by a proven and experienced team of specialists in DCM and equity linked product origination, advisory, execution, distribution, underwriting and trading, ranging from Retail Eligible Bonds, Corporate Wholesale Bonds (multi-currency) and Convertible Bonds.
The DCM hires replace the previous collaboration between Peel Hunt and debt advisory firm JC Rathbone Associates (“JCRA”), which has been successfully in situ since late 2016. Going forward, both Peel Hunt and JCRA will continue to evaluate and collaborate on potential DCM issuances on a case by case basis.
