Peel Hunt has continued to expand its team with the appointment of four senior executives across its corporate broking, specialist sales and equity research divisions.
Alex Howe joins Peel Hunt as Head of Investment Trusts Sales from BMO Global Asset Management, Michael Burke and Tom Ballard both join Peel Hunt’s Corporate Broking team as Directors from Numis Securities, while Sam Cullen joins Peel Hunt’s equity research team as Building & Construction Analyst from Berenberg.
Alex Howe joins Peel Hunt as Head of Investment Trusts Sales, where he will oversee the team’s distribution strategy. With nearly 15 years’ experience working in fund sales, Alex was previously Head of Investment Trust Sales at BMO Global Asset Management where he was responsible for overseeing the wholesale distribution strategy for 10 closed-ended strategies spanning £10bn AUM.
Michael Burke brings significant equity capital markets and advisory experience to the role, having spent the past 12 years at Numis, where he advised over 20 FTSE All Share and AIM clients across a range of sectors including Building & Construction, Retail, Support Services and Travel & Leisure.
Tom Ballard also joins from Numis, where over the past decade he was lead adviser to 15 publicly listed clients, gaining significant experience across the full range of public market transactions, with a specialist focus on UK Mid-Market ECM.
Finally, Sam Cullen joins Peel Hunt today as a Building & Construction Research Analyst, bringing nearly 10 years of equity research experience to the role, most recently as Construction and Industrials Materials analyst at Berenberg, having started his career at Jefferies where he covered 18 stocks across the UK Building and Residential Services sectors.
