Peel Hunt is delighted to have acted as Joint Global Coordinator to Hammerson plc on its successful £189m capital raise.
Hammerson plc is the largest UK-listed, pure-play owner and manager of prime retail-led city destinations across the UK, France and Ireland. The placing allows the company to part fund the acquisition of a 50% stake in the Manchester Arndale shopping centre. This transaction builds on recent strategic progress to generate operating leverage through an efficient and scalable platform, driving growth in income and earnings.
