Peel Hunt acted as Joint Global Co-Ordinator, Joint Bookrunner and Joint Corporate Broker on an accelerated book build conditional placing of 37,223,079 new ordinary shares in Essentra Plc at a price of 260 pence per Placing Share, which together with the proceeds of a separate Subscription and a Retail offer (which in aggregate represented c. 14.6% of the existing Ordinary Shares prior to the fund raise), raised gross proceeds of approximately £100 million, as announced on 17th September, 2020.
