• Today, Tube travel is at 38% of normal levels and unchanged from last week, according to Transport for London. Bus travel is at 68% of normal demand, which is down 4% from last week. Compliance with its request for passengers to continue wearing masks has been observed by around 85% of passengers .
• According to the International Labour Organi zation , between 2019 and 2020, 4.2% of women’s employment globally (the equivalent of 54m jobs ) disappeared because of the pandemic. In contrast, 3% of men’s employment globally (60m jobs) was lost.

• France now says any non-vaccinated visitor from the UK, Cyprus, Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain must show evidence of a negative test taken in the past 24 hours. Previously, the requirement was 48 hours for the UK and 72 hours for the others.
• The Republic of Ireland has relaxed its restrictions on international travel, meaning most fully-vaccinated people no longer need to self-isolate on arrival. The vaccines used must be among those approved by the European Medicines Agency.
• Mykonos, Greece, has imposed a night-time curfew from this weekend.
• Lockdown extended in Australian state of Victoria. The state’s public health team and senior government ministers will make the final call on the length of the extension by Tuesday morning.
