WHAT YOU’LL DO

The programme is six weeks long and based at Peel Hunt’s London office in Moorgate, beginning in June 2018. Each participant will have a dedicated mentor as well as the opportunity to attend networking events within the firm.

Transactions

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions, whether this be an IPO, a rights issue or an M&A project. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the deal including valuation, investment cases, transactional documents, financial and legal due diligence, and general project management.

Marketing

You will be involved in helping to draft marketing materials for current and new clients. You will also be asked to assist with various ad-hoc projects.

Supporting team members

Participants will work alongside a wide range of employees from the firm, from fellow interns to senior management. You will be responsible for supporting various sector teams (e.g. Consumer, Real Estate, Healthcare) and helping to contribute to the success of that team.

Depending on performance, there is the potential opportunity to transition into a permanent role upon completion of the programme.

Internship programme 2018

The relatively small size of the firm, along with its inclusive culture, gives interns unparalleled access to the UK Mid-Cap corporate finance universe when compared to some of the larger banks. I was given exposure to many sector teams during my stint at the company and relished the fact that my opinion was listened to and valued on the same level as a full-time employee.

Internship programme 2018

I thoroughly enjoyed my six-week internship working in the Corporate Department at Peel Hunt. From Day One, I felt like a valued member of the team. The whole department were very welcoming and helpful to me, and it was a great experience to get insight into working with all the different sector teams, from Consumer and Technology to Natural Resources.

Internship programme 2017

The experience I gained from working with the Peel Hunt corporate team was invaluable. With support and guidance from many members of the department, I quickly learned what it takes to succeed as a junior analyst. I would recommend a Peel Hunt internship to anyone who likes a challenge and wants to be genuinely immersed in the industry.

Internship programme 2017

A Peel Hunt internship offers amazing exposure to all levels of deals in UK Mid-cap Corporate Finance. Working for a smaller, growing firm allows you to get to know the whole office and work on multiple projects across all industry teams. I would highly recommend taking the opportunity to work with a great team in an exciting and intimate firm.
