David Hawkins – Equity Sales

Prior to joining KBC Peel Hunt in 2002, David gained seventeen years experience in sales with Credit Lyonnais and Panmure Gordon. Throughout he has worked closely with sector analysts, most notably in industrials and construction, though familiarity with the financial sector has been evidenced by playing a significant role in the IPO and secondary fundraising for Heritage in 2006.

Marianne Woods – Director, Corporate Broking

Marianne has worked in the City for over 20 years. She started in general Equity Sales, and was then head of sales and research for smaller companies at both James Capel (now part of HSBC) and S.G. Securities. After leaving sales, she worked in Corporate Broking at Panmure Gordon before joining KBC Peel Hunt’s Corporate Broking department in 2007. Marianne has a BSc in chemistry and an MA, both from Durham University.

Julian Blunt – Director, Corporate Finance

Julian joined KBC Peel Hunt in 1995 and has over ten years’ Corporate Finance experience. He has advised clients on a wide variety of transactions, and is now a director in our Corporate Finance department, specialising in the support services sector.
Julian graduated from Reading University with a degree in music. He also has an MBA from Bradford University.

Nicholas Marren – Corporate Finance

Nicholas joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2006 having previously worked for ABN AMRO Bank N.V and Arthur Andersen. He has worked on over 30 completed transactions across a wide variety of industries including financial services, energy, leisure, real estate, support services, transport and technology. He has a broad range of experience across both the equity capital markets including introductions, initial public offerings, private fundraisings and secondary placings as well as experience within mergers and acquisitions including buy and sell side mandates, disposals, public offers and rule 3 advisory work. He is a Qualified Executive for the purposes of the AIM Rules of the London Stock Exchange. He is also a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and holds a Bsc in Management Sciences from Loughborough University.

David Mansfield – Market Making

David was reunited with past colleagues from Warburg when he joined KBC Peel Hunt in 1999. And for the last three years, he has been an arbitrage trader in far-eastern equities and GDRs.
David started in the checking department of Scott Goff Layton in 1987, which then became Smith New Court. He moved to SG Warburg in 1989 as a blue button, and became a dealer a year later.

Ian Dunton – Market Making

Ian joined the KBC Peel Hunt market-making desk in 1999. During the last eight years, he has worked in the property, mining, and oil & gas sectors and now specialises in support services and builders’ books. He has a degree in Accountancy and Finance, and is a qualified certified accountant.
