WHAT YOU’LL DO

The programme is six weeks long and based at Peel Hunt’s London office in Moorgate, beginning in June. Each participant will have a dedicated mentor as well as the opportunity to attend networking events within the firm.

Transactions

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions, whether this be an IPO, a rights issue or an M&A project. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the deal including valuation, investment cases, transactional documents, financial and legal due diligence, and general project management.

Marketing

You will be involved in helping to draft marketing materials for current and new clients. You will also be asked to assist with various ad-hoc projects.

Supporting team members

Participants will work alongside a wide range of employees from the firm, from fellow interns to senior management. You will be responsible for supporting various sector teams (e.g. Consumer, Real Estate, Healthcare) and helping to contribute to the success of that team.

Depending on performance, there is the potential opportunity to transition into a permanent role upon completion of the programme.

How to Apply

The programme runs from June to October each year. Applications are now closed for 2020. Applicants must attend a top university, have completed their first year, and have excellent academic qualifications.

There are two stages to the assessment process:

1. Submission of a CV and cover letter (using the link below). The cover letter should be no longer than 250 words and should state why you would like to join the Peel Hunt Internship Programme.

2. A face-to-face meeting with the Peel Hunt senior management.
